This advanced camera, the lightest and most compact full-frame EOS model to date, is expertly designed to deliver high-quality, professional results with ease and efficiency. At the heart of the EOS RP is a 26.2 MP CMOS sensor, which, when combined with the powerful DIGIC 8 processor, ensures exceptional image quality even in low light conditions. The camera's fast and accurate autofocus and 4K video capabilities open up a world of creative possibilities, making it an ideal choice for both hobbyists and professionals. The EOS RP is not just about power and performance; it's also about versatility. It's compatible with both RF lenses and all EF/EF-S lenses, thanks to three optional Mount Adapters. When paired with EF-S lenses, the camera automatically crops to match the APS-C sized sensor these lenses are designed for. The EOS RP features a large, 54mm internal diameter RF mount, a design choice that facilitates lenses of stellar optical quality and performance. The mirrorless design allows the lens's rear element to be much closer to the image plane, resulting in innovative compact camera and lens designs. The robust 12 pin connection between the camera and the lens ensures high-speed communication, transferring a large amount of data and information for incredibly fast AF, enhanced image stabilization, and optimization. The EOS RP is also designed for comfort and ease of use. Its compact size, comfortable grip, vari-angle touchscreen LCD, and electronic viewfinder make operation familiar and easy, whether you're capturing the beauty of a distant landscape or the details of a close-up portrait. In summary, the Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Full Frame Camera is a sophisticated, innovative tool that combines high-quality imaging, advanced features, and a user-friendly design to help you capture your world with the quality, control, and ease you crave.FeaturesLightest, Smallest Full-frame EOS CameraCompatible with RF Lenses and EF/EF-S Lenses (Requires Optional Mount Adapter EF-EOS R)High Image Quality with 26.2 Megapixel Full-frame CMOS Sensor and DIGIC 8 Image ProcessorDual Pixel CMOS AF for Fast and Accurate Auto FocusExcellent Low-light PerformanceBuilt-in EVF with 2.36 Million Dots, Touch & Drag AFVari-angle Touchscreen LCDEasy OperationUSB Charge CompatibleBuilt-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth TechnologyMobile WorkflowSpecificationsProduct SeriesN/AColorBlackCameraLens MountCanon RFLens IncludedWithout LensLensFormat/SizeFull-Frame/35.9 x 24mmTypeCMOSPixelsActual: 27.1 Megapixel Effective: 26.2 MegapixelAspect Ratio3:2 (Horizontal: Vertical)Dust Reduction SystemYesImage StabilizationDigital, 5-WayImage SensorFile FormatStill Images: JPEG, RAW Movies: AVC/H.264, MP4 Audio: AAC, Linear PCMRAW Output14-BitVideo Recording4K (UHD) 3840 x 2160: 23.98 fps, 25.00 fps Full HD (1920 x 1080): 59.94 fps, 50.00 fps, 29.97 fps, 25.00 fps, HDR Movies, 29.97 fps, 25.00 fps HD (1280 x 720): 59.94 fps, 50.00 fps, 29.97 fps, 25.00 fps, HDR MoviesAspect Ratio3:2, 4:3, 16:9, 1:1File Size3:2 Aspect Ratio: Large/RAW/C-RAW: 6240 x 4160, Medium: 4160 x 2768, Small 1: 3120 x 2080, Small 2: 2400 x 1600 1.6x (Crop): Large/RAW/C-RAW: 3888 x 2592, Small 2: 2400 x 1600 4:3 Aspect Ratio: Large/RAW/C-RAW: 5536 4160, Medium: 3680 x 2768, Small 1: 2768 x 2080, Small 2: 2112 x 1600 16:9 Aspect Ratio: Large/RAW/C-RAW: 6240 x 3504, Medium: 4160 x 2336File Size (Contd.)Small 1: 3120 x 1752, Small 2: 2400 x 1344 1:1 Aspect Ratio: Large/RAW/C-RAW: 4160 x 4160, Medium: 2768 x 2768, Small 1: 2080 x 2080, Small 2: 1600 x 1600PrintN/AMaximum Recording TimeMOV: 29 min. 59 sec.Camera Start-up Time/Shutter LagApprox. 0.82 sec. / N/APicture StyleAuto Standard Portrait Landscape Fine Detail Neutral Faithful Monochrome User Defined 1-3 In Scene Intelligent Auto, [Auto] will be set automatically.
