Take beautiful portraits with lovely color rendering and contrast, with some beautiful flaring and an ethereal look. Stop down to F/2 to great sharpness and clarity. Clickless aperture control. The lens has mostly internal focusing to minimize risk of dust, no chromatic abberation that I have ever noticed. The lens has a couple of teeny-tiny marks that do not show on images produced and visible only under close inspection. No dust inside that I have noticed.
