Nikon Nikkor-P Auto 600mm F5.6 With AU-1 Focusing Unit In Fantastic Condition

Specifications

Nikon Nikkor-P Auto 600mm F5.6 With AU-1 Focusing Unit In Fantastic Condition. This is a very unique piece and one of Nikon’s first super-telephoto lenses. The 600mm “head” unit contains all of the optics and is mated to the AU-1 focusing unit via threads. There are also 800, 1000, and 1200mm heads that are adaptable to the AU-1 (not included). What truly stands out with this lens is the fantastic condition of the glass and focusing unit which is rare with these considering the age. No fungus, haze or separation is visible as well as very little dust. I do not have the original wooden box but have adapted a unique case with a shoulder strap that fits and protects the lens perfectly! You won’t be disappointed.
