If you need international shipping, please send me a message. This holder is my own design that improves upon this style of adapted plate holder. It holds the plates more firmly without causing any bends in thin trophy aluminum like the 4-corner style holders with inserts can, and it produces a nice clean border on the image if you keep the holder clean. I\u2019ve gone through many iterations over the past two years tweaking it to arrive at this ultimate design that is sturdy. This takes full 4&#215;5\u201d plates, unlike Chamomix, so you can get cheaper plates from Main Trophy or Bostick and Sullivan without cutting them custom. If you cut your own glass plates, there\u2019s some extra room to account for any imperfections in your cuts. If you need a custom opening size that\u2019s smaller, I can modify my design to meet your need. I use these for wet plate collodion as well as J Lane Dry Plates. I keep a few J Lane plates in for weeks at a time with no light leaks. There\u2019s a finger groove to help you guide the plates gently in and out with a gloved finger. I can use this holder entirely one-handed. Two will fit in a small USPS box for ~$9. Grab all 4 and I\u2019ll cover the extra shipping.
